The Maritime Museum is working on an online database of women who are or were active in the maritime sector. Alongside our own historical research, we want to showcase the wide range of roles women have held—and continue to hold—in this field, spanning centuries.

We invite you to fill in the form below. Inspiring stories will be featured on our platform, together painting a rich and diverse portrait of maritime women, past and present. You can submit a story about yourself or on behalf of a (deceased) family member.
